I do a lot of camping, fishing, boating, and other outdoor activities throughout most of the year and I take both of these with me everywhere I go for myself and friends. They may not fit in your pocket so well and they are probably a bit heavy to put in your pockets even if you wanted to, but they are still pretty small and light enough to easily carry in any cooler, tackle box, purse, etc... or they even come in a nice carrying case with handles if you don't have anything with you. They are a relatively small seat (looks kind of like a child chair) and moderately unstable but they still comfortably seat me and they surely beat sitting on the ground, pier, logs, rocks, or whatever other dirty, uncomfortable objects that may be around.

After reading the review that this chair received from the Wall Street Journal, I asked my wife to get it for me for my birthday. The chair arrived within a few days and it is everything that I expected.

3M Scotchgard Fabric Protector 10 Ounce

Once figured out, these are very easy to put together. The back and seat come pre-assembled, so you don't have to screw on all of those slats. You just fit the back into the seat using the huge pegs/hols built in. Then you assemble each side of legs, tap them in to the chair/back assembly, then drive screws where they tell you to in the instructions. There aren't pilot holes, so you just have to see where the pegs go into holes and secure by driving screws. Some have said they drilled pilot holes, but I didn't find that necessary at all. I used a decent cordless drill/driver and the screws went in very easily. Really, don't get all worked up by splits in the wood, they really do belong, it's rustic! I finished them with Thompson's water seal with the natural cedar tint and they look great. I haven't really sat in them yet, just tried it out real quick after building and before staining. They are shaped very comfortably. I have my two out by a new fire pit and they are the perfect complement.

I have been sewing for overfourty years ,and so I am aquainted with sewing machines starting with my grandmother's treadle White to my current Viking.

My Viking had to go for its yearly tension repair so I was left ( not very happily , I might add) in the middle of a project that required a lot of straight and zigzag stitching ..... I decided to buy a good BACKUP machine.

I read the reviews and checked the Consumer Report (March 2009) and found the Brother XL2600I. I decided that if the reviews were correct then this was exactly what I was looking for....and it was and is. This is a great little basic machine. The stitches are uniform, the tension is amazingly perfect , and the instructional manuel is EASY to understand . This machine allows the project to be the focus of the sewing experince.

They also only fit on the base one way -- you can't really mess it up.

Sitting in the seat, the springs allow just the right amount of give. I will bet that these chairs will get pretty warm sitting in the sun, but be pretty comfortable with a nice cushion. They look to be very low-maintenance and you can probably leave them out unless it is going to be windy.

MON ONCLE (My Uncle) is one, indeed, the most hilarious French films that has been made. Jacques Tati shows film viewers post-war France, and its progression towards a prosperous future, which involved the nuclear family and modernization. Once again, Tati plays the bumbling Chaplinesque figure, Monsieur Hulot, who tends to get himself in a little mischief. For this installment, Hulot is at odds with his brother-in-law, Charles Arpel (Jean-Pierre Zola II) over his nephew, Gerard (Alain Becourt). Madame Arpel (Adrienne Servantie), his sister, has no qualms about her brother, but receives the gripes from Charles. It appears that Hulot spends too much time with Gerard, and may be a bad influence on the boy. Charles attempts to remedy the problem by hiring Hulot at his plastic company, and later promoting him to another position away from Gerard.

The Arpels live in the new world with all its modernist features and conveniences of a modern home of the late 1950s. Their lives are a string of daily routine -- straight and narrow environment that is meticulously organized and sanitized. Indeed, the furniture they sit and eat on resembles something that may have been owned by Ken and Barbie. The modern French landscape looks no different than their US counterparts, an automatic garage door and everyone drives and own a colorful '57-'58 Chevy (pink and green). The most obnoxious and annoying object in the film is the fish water fountain that spits out blue water that Madame Arpel turns on only when guests come by.

On the other hand, Hulot's world is the old world. He rides a motorized bicycle and lives in the familiar quaint French landscape with cobblestone streets, horse-carriage carts, and open food markets. Hulot is the friendly and considerate individual who sees the world around him, but has not quite been in-synch with the present.

The music in the film is quite significant when differentiating the two worlds. Hulot's world rings with bells and jingles with a French feel of a sleepy town, while the Arpel's world is fast-paced and on the go-go, and rocks and rolls with sounds from the west.

As an added bonus, the DVD includes the 1947 15 minute short film, L'ecole des facteurs (School For Postmen), which posseses a Buster Keaton influence in most of the scenes, especially the one where Tati passes a group of bicyclists.

Overall, MON ONCLE is a comedic film that will delight anyone. Indeed, the film has a Jerry Lewis feel of "The Bellboy" and "The Ladies' Man". If you want a laugh a minute, this film will deliver the goods.

Ok so this is my third headset, the others are Turtle Beach X12 and Tritton 720+ (I highly recommend both of those).

After getting tired of seeing "OMG this headset sucks it has such a low volume" I have to make an update and put it first

USE THE ADVANCED SOUND EDITOR PEOPLE!! THIS IS WHY ARE YOU PAYING SO MUCH MONEY FOR THIS HEADSET

Pros

-Sound Quality is great, in MW3 I could easily tell where the enemies were. I'd give these 9.5 and Trittons 720+ 8.5
-Advanced Sound Editor (ASE), make all the adjustments you want to your audio and chat. With a lot of room for presets.
-Mic is 10/10 just like the X12
-Very nice design
-Wireless with no interference at all, everything works great
-Voice morphing, yeah, this may be stupid and unnecesary but it can be real fun, you can make tons of jokes with this option

Cons

-Sound out of the box is meh, you have to go the ASE to get great sound quality
-"EAR GUARD" THIS IS WHAT MAKES THE HEADSET TO HAVE "LOW VOLUME", YOU CAN TURN IT OFF IN THE ADVANCED SOUND EDITOR! DOWNLOAD THE MANUAL FROM TURTLE BEACH WEBSITE
-The most disappointing thing for me is that they do feel a bit cheap not what I would expect from a $300 headset, To me the X12 and Trittons are way better in this category, both feel more resistant to falls and everything
-Optical cable, it is sooooo slim but I guess this isn't a big deal...
-Price is a little high since they feel cheap and the sound out of the box is not what you would expect

I had to return these because I had some problems (sound would cut off for 5 seconds from time to time and it would make a distorted noise in the right earcup every 10 mins approx)

Even with the problems I had with the Tangos I would say this is a nice headset (although a bit pricey imo) and probably better than the Astro A50 (I am sure my Tangos were one of the very few that were defective, but the A50 it seems like 50% are good and 50% are defective) and from what I've seen all over the internet the Warheads sound is somewhat mediocre for $300.

UPDATE 01/25/2013

After trying the old Astro mixamp with the Sennheiser PC 360 (which, lucky me, they were defective too) I am back with the Tangos.

I wanna say the old mixamp is really good imo.
The Sennheiser PC 360 are beautiful for music but in games I don't know if it was because they were defective or I had to get used to their sound (like it happened to me going from TBs X12 to Tritton 720+) but it was harder for me to hear footsteps, I am not quite sure as I just tried them for a few hours.

Anyway, I am back with the Tangos and I am pretty happy with these, no defects so far, everything works great as I was expecting. This is the best headset for gaming I have tried so far.

If you can get them for $199 that is a great price or even $249 would be fair imo.

The other plus, as if you needed any more, is that we already had an outdoor dining table which is espresso-colored and made of the synthetic/all -weather weave. The colors match perfectly!!
